NLP Master Practitioner Certification in Lisbon
The NLP Master Practitioner is the next step after your Practitioner. In 7 days live in Lisbon you learn to work with the belief or value underneath a problem, in the middle of a normal conversation, without running a formal technique. You practise in a group of maximum 10 and leave with the Master Practitioner certificate of the Society of NLP, signed by NLP co-creator Dr. Richard Bandler.

What is the difference between NLP Practitioner and Master?
The Practitioner teaches you the tools. The Master teaches you to use them without thinking about the steps, and to work on the level underneath behaviour: values, beliefs and the way a person makes sense of the world. Most people notice the difference in one place first: they stop reaching for a technique and simply respond to the person in front of them.

What will you be able to do after the Master?
After the 7 days you can work with people on the level where the problem actually sits, not only on the symptom they bring. You will practise how to:
- Change a belief in the middle of a normal conversation with Sleight of Mouth patterns, without announcing a technique
- Find out what someone really cares about with values elicitation, and work with conflicts between values
- Recognise meta programs within a few sentences and adjust how you lead, sell or coach
- Model a skilled person: find out how they do what they do, and learn to teach it to others (modeling in NLP)
- Build your own interventions instead of only following written formats
What changes when you are back at work
In a first session you hear the value or belief behind the request and ask about that, instead of reaching for the next format. When someone says “I can’t”, you have several ways to answer inside the conversation itself. And when you meet someone who does something really well, you have a method to find out how they do it and to teach it.
How do the 7 days work?
Every day combines short demonstrations with a lot of practice in pairs and small groups, on real topics from your life and work. Carolin watches the practice and gives feedback while it happens. A typical week looks like this:
Days 1 and 2: Beliefs and values
How beliefs hold together and why some resist change. You elicit values, find the hierarchy behind a decision and work with conflicts between two things a person wants at the same time.
Days 3 and 4: Language at Master level
Sleight of Mouth and conversational reframing. You learn to answer an objection or a limiting belief so that the other person starts to see it differently, without a formal session.
Day 5: Meta programs and strategies
How people filter information, decide and motivate themselves. You practise reading these patterns in everyday speech and adjusting your own language to them.
Day 6: Modeling
NLP itself grew out of modeling. You model a real ability of another participant, break it into learnable steps and test whether someone else can use it.
Day 7: Integration and certification
You run complete processes with your own interventions, get final feedback and receive your Society of NLP Master Practitioner certificate.

Who is the Master for?
The Master is for certified NLP Practitioners who use NLP and want to go further: coaches and therapists who work with clients, leaders and trainers who guide people for a living, and graduates whose Practitioner left them with more questions than answers.
- You have completed an NLP Practitioner, with NLP Lisbon or another recognised school
- You know the basic formats and want to stop following them like a recipe
- You want to work with values and beliefs, not only with states and habits

Who is your trainer?
You train with Carolin Mallmann, a licensed NLP Trainer of the Society of NLP, trained directly by Dr. Richard Bandler. She coaches and trains all year, in English and German, and has been working with NLP for more than ten years. Because the group is capped at 10, she sees your actual practice every day and gives you feedback while you work.

The price covers 7 full days of live training in a group of maximum 10, with Carolin watching your practice and giving feedback while you work, the printed training material and the Society of NLP Master Practitioner certificate. That is about €286 a day. Instalments are possible. Travel and accommodation are not included.

Why train the Master in Lisbon?
Because work at Master level needs uninterrupted time. Values and beliefs do not shift in a two-hour slot between meetings. Seven days away from your routine let what you learn sink in, and the evenings in the city with your group are part of that. More on this: why we train in Lisbon.

Questions you might be asking
Do I need to have done my Practitioner with NLP Lisbon?
No. A completed NLP Practitioner from another recognised school counts as well. If you are unsure whether your certificate fits, send Carolin a short message with the name of your school.
I already use NLP well. Do I need the Master?
Maybe not yet. If the formats work for you and your clients, you can wait. The Master is for the moment you notice you are following steps, or that a belief sits deeper than one format reaches.
I’m not a coach. Is the Master still worth it?
Values, beliefs and meta programs show up when you lead a team, sell, teach or talk with people at home. You practise on topics from your own work and life, so what you bring is what you work on.
Why in person and not online?
Master work is practised on real beliefs with real people, and you get feedback from the trainer while you do it. A week away also means no meetings in between. If you prefer an online format in German, Carolin runs one as well.
How long should I wait between Practitioner and Master?
There is no fixed waiting time. Many people book the Master once they have used NLP for a few months and notice where they get stuck. Others continue soon after the Practitioner while the material is still fresh. Either way works.
What exactly is the Master certificate?
You receive the NLP Master Practitioner certificate of the Society of NLP, the original licensing body founded by Dr. Richard Bandler. It is recognised internationally and is the step before the NLP Trainer course.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Mention it when you get in touch and Carolin will suggest a plan.
Is my English good enough?
If you can read this page comfortably, yes. The group is international and we speak clearly, not academically. If you prefer German, Carolin also runs the Master in German.
What if I book and can’t make the date?
Tell us as early as you can. Up to four weeks before the start we can usually move your seat to the next Master date free of charge. Closer to the date, talk to us and we will find a fair solution together.
